Condition

Colour: Overall the colours in the catalogue are fairly accurate, although there are scattered ochre highlights in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The canvas is lightly rippled in places. There is evidence of wear and light rubbing at the corners. There is light evidence of wear and scattered unobtrusive rubs at the bottom of the canvas.

"His abstract and skilful black and white compositions, owing to their plastic characteristics, lose their original meanings. Signs in a nervous graphism, such as commas, bows, and interlaces and interwoven lines are patterned orderly or expand like stormy sea waves."
