Condition

Illustration is quite accurate. Good overall condition. As visible on the image there is on old horizontal crack on the top middle which has been restored a long time ago and which would need attention now. Traces of old woodworm damages as well (also on the feet). As expected some scratches on the top. One feet corner with very minor chips. Nice patina on the carved elements especially on the masks and on the harpies. Beautiful carving typical of Dufin's manner: his stamp can be found four times on the base. Very fine example of Renaissance furniture imitation at the end of the 19th century.
