Description

of oval shape, carved in high-relief with a peach tree growing out from jagged rocks jutting out of the sea, all below swirling clouds and a flying bat, the white jade stone enhanced with russet stains, the reverse carved in low-relief with the 'double-happiness' character, shuang xi, enclosed by a key-fret border below a pair of confronting mandarin ducks

Condition

Apart from some minor natural flaws in the stone, there is a polished chip (approx 5 mm) to the edge just below 9 O'clock. The overall condition is reasonably good.
