Description

the lustrous stone of an even milky-white tone in the shape of a pomegranate, the cover well carved in low-relief with a ripe pomegranate with skin bursting open revealing the seeds, further decorated in the foreground with an insect resting on a leafy branch, the box of conforming shape

Condition

The overall condition is very good, except for some minute nicks to the rims of the box and cover. The largest nick to the rim of the box measures about 0.2 cm.
