Description
the wide tapering foot of each rising to rounded sides and flaring rim, the interior painted in bright enamels with a roundel of stylised chrysanthemum and peach below eight beribboned Daoist emblems on the cavetto, the exterior painted with a dense composite floral scroll above a band of upright ruyi-heads at foot, the underside inscribed with a six-character reign mark in underglaze blue
Condition
The overall condition of the pair is very good. There are some glaze gaps to the interior, with the largest one measuring about 0.7 cm. There are also some losses to the enamels, but most are intact.
