Description

each of deep rounded form resting on a short foot, carved to one bowl with leafy fruiting branches of peach, pomegranate, and lychee, all reserved on a diaper ground; the other similarly decorated with two pairs of songbirds perched upon leafy branches of fruiting lychee on a diaper ground, both friezes between lotus lappets above the foot and a key-fret band at the everted rim, and a further key-fret around the foot

Condition

There are some light scratches to the interior and to the base of both bowls. Apart from some typical minute chips to the carvings, the overall condition is very good.
