Description
of compressed and circular form, the cover carved in high relief with prunus flowers on a leafy ground, the base resting on a slightly countersunk base and similarly decorated, the interior lacquered black
Provenance
Old private Japanese collection.
Condition
There is a 1 cm restored chip to the inner lip of the box, not visible on the exterior. There are a couple of small age cracks. However the carving is in very good condition and the overall condition is very good.
