Description
of square section, the facetted body with a flat base flaring to a gilt-decorated rim, one side delicately enamelled with a leafy branch of prunus above lingzhi fungus springing from craggy rocks, the opposite similarly painted with stands of narcissus and an arching branch of ripe nandina berries above further lingzhi, alternating with two inscribed sides, each with a poem written in lishu (clerical script) and three seals in iron-red
Condition
The overall condition is very good with occasional tiny stained air bubbles, and minor wear to the glaze at the corners of the base. Almost all of the enamelling, together with some gilt decoration, is well preserved.
