Description

seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus pedestal, wearing an embroidered sanghati and the hair in tight curls covering the domed ushnisha above, an urna on the forehead and long pierced earlobes, with hands in bhumishparsha mudra and a vajra in front

Condition

The Buddha is in good overall condition with the exception of a crack to the left ear of the Buddha ; two original rectangular patches scattered in the metal to the back ; the base plate has been removed and light rubbing to the gilding.
