Description

modelled after the archaic jade prototype, of square section with a short cylindrical neck, each side moulded in relief with two columns of short dashes representing the 'Eight  Daoist Trigrams', covered overall with an even ash-grey glaze suffused with a fine network of black-stained crackles

Condition

There are two tiny holes of 0.7 cm apart drilled to the top of the vase. Apart from occasional glaze gaps, some wear and bruises to the glaze at the corners, the overall condition is otherwise very good.
