Catalogue Note
This firman is addressed to "the Christian, the Consul, resident in Trabzon [Trebizond] called Flandre(?) Karir(?) Sirdini(?)" who had previously been granted the decoration of the Lion and the Sun of the 3rd Class, and the decoration of the Lion and the Sun studded with rubies of 2nd Class for his assistance to Iranian merchants and trade.
