the amulet of circular form in a silver mount with two loops for suspension, incised with a cusped medallion encircled by two curved cartouches within four further cartouches, all enclosing cursive calligraphy with interstitial floral motifs; the plaque of rectangular form carved with three lines of cursive calligraphy and interstitial designs of stylised floral sprays

"Mumtaz al-Dawla Bakhshi al-Mulk Sarfaraz Khan Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Alikhan Bahadur Dhu'l-Faqar Jang 1281 (1864-5 AD)."
The name may be that of a Hyderabadi nobleman, though states like Tonk, Murshidabad and Lucknow used similar titles.
