The three calligraphies are as follows:
A: The Ayat al-Kursi "The Throne Verse", Surat al-Baqarat: (II) from the Qur'an.
B: A folio from a manuscript of poetry written in naskhi, muhaqqaq and nasta`liq scripts in black and red on paper, consisting of Arabic qasidahs.
C: Three fragments of Kufic script in red and blue on illuminated grounds from the borders of a well-known Qur'an (see lot 27 in this sale for a bifolium from this Qur'an), mounted on an album page with gold-sprinkled borders.
