Catalogue Note
This Qur'an leaf is interesting for the presence of the Persian interlinear translation, which although quite common on later Qur'ans from Iran, is rather rare at this relatively early date. Another interesting feature is the obvious structure of the thick, buff paper, whose chain lines and laid lines are clearly visible.
