  • Ink, Gouache and Gold on Paper
Arabic manuscript on paper, the verso with a large panel of illumination composed of interlacing geometric patterns and stellar motifs, with prayers in gold script, borders filled with scrolling vines in gold, with a circular medallion filled with a rigorous pattern of interlacing arabesques, the recto with 10 lines of text in Maghribi script in brown ink, diacritics in blue, a rectangular panel with prayers in gold against a blue ground, a medallion stretching into the margin, text block ruled in colours and gold, framed

Condition

In good overall condition, a few minor stains, gold bright, as viewed.
