comprised of six joined vertical panels widths, lined with printed cotton fabric, edged with some extant sections of original ikat
Condition
Comprised of six joined panels: approximately 29cm., 44cm., 14cm., 29.5cm., 29.5cm. and 29.5cm. wide respectively. The edges of embroidered panel have been turned under at the sides (approx. 5.5cm). Edges of original ikat edging are present in sections on the reverse (with some tears and losses). There is a bold red and gold Neo-classical style printed cotton lining. There are some stains and water marks, particularly visible on the natural linen ground. Decorative panel.
