Description
- Lacquered and painted leather
the wooden body of domed circular form, painted with a border of detailed flowers, with four emanating poppy plants between tigers composed of micrographic script, the central medallion featuring an inscription surrounded by arch-lobed petals decorated with small scrolling flowers, the reverse lacquered in plain black, not completed as a shield
Condition
In overall fairly good condition, some paint craquelure along the domed surface, with some ware along the rim, intact, as viewed.
