Description

Gouache heightened with gold on paper, depicting the central figure of Bahadur Shah seated on a throne beneath within the interior of a palace, surrounded by his sons and various court officials, with minute inscriptions in black ink denoting their names, laid down on an album page, framed, old auction label on back

Condition

In very good overall condition, colours vivid and gold bright, as viewed.
