- Ink, Gouache & Gold on Paper
Gouache heightened with gold on paper, depicting a young noblewoman sitting within the branches of a tree drinking wine and surrounded by musicians and attendants on the banks of a river, a rocky landscape in the background, laid down on an album page decorated with a blue lattice design interspersed with polychrome flowers against a gold ground, the reverse with a panel of calligraphy signed by Muhammad Sadiq

Condition
In reasonably good overall condition, some rubbing and abrasions to the outer margins of the album page, particularly at the top edge, inner border cracking but colours and gold mostly bright, reverse with a few small stains and losses to margins, as viewed.
