Ink and gouache heightened with gold, depicting a central figure on horseback riding through a fire, a snake wrapped around the branches of a tree in the foreground, the reverse with 20 lines of text in 4 columns, written in Nasta'liq script in black ink, 2 headings in red, ruled in colours and gold, evidence of overpainting

Condition

In fairly good overall condition, some wormholes to outer margins, a few stains, colours and gold generally bright, as viewed.
