Description
- Ink and Gold on Paper
Arabic manuscript on stout paper heightened with gold, 7 lines of text written in naskh script in black ink within cloud bands set against a gold ground punched with cintimani motifs, verses separated by segmented rosettes with polychrome dots, the lower corners and side panels embellished with leafy flowers
Condition
In good overall condition, ink bold and gold bright, top right quadrant with some minor rubbing, as viewed.
