Owner's name:  Haydar Quli Nuri

Although unrecorded, Haydar Quli Nuri must surely have been quite an important figure to possess such a dagger. He may be related to Nasrullah Khan Nuri (1222-1281 AH/1807-64 AD), the Prime Minister of Nasr al-Din Shah.
