Description

  • leather, golt and colours
Of typical form, brown morocco, the outer central fields gilt stamped with a central medallion and corner pieces, with borders filled with cartouches and trefoils, decorated throughout with chinoiserié cloudbands, interlacing vines and split-palmettes, the doublures decorated with polychrome cartouches overlaid with a field of fine découpage gold filigree work, old collection label to one board 

Condition

In good overall condition, filigree generally intact and colours vivid, gold bright, one board unattached, some minor abrasions to board edges, as viewed.
