Un seul autre exemplaire de ce modèle de vase est connu à ce jour, conservé dans une collection privée, signé et daté 1908, il fût offert par Hectore Guimard à Louis Rey à l'occasion du mariage de sa fille en 1911. Notre vase est daté 1912, l'année où Guimard meuble et décor sa propre maison, l'Hôtel Guimard, situé 122 avenue Mozart à Paris.

Exhibited

Only one other example of this model of vase is known, signed and dated 1908 and now in a private collection. It was gifted by Hector Guimard to Louis Rey on the occasion of Rey's daughter's wedding in 1911. The present lot is dated 1912, the same year that Guimard was furnishing his own new marital home, Hôtel Guimard at 122 avenue Mozart, Paris.

Condition

Bon état général. Fines rayures d'usage sur l'ensemble de la surface. Traces d'oxydation de haut en bas sur environ 5 cm de large et quelques traces de salissures éparses.
