Literature
L'ouvrage que Florence Camard a consacré à Sue et Mare (Sue et Mare et la compagnie des Arts français, édition de l'Amateur, Paris, 1993) présente un index des meubles réalisés dans lequel sont listés plusieurs modèles de fauteuils dont il n'a pu être retrouvé d'images dans les archive. Ces sièges sont un mélange de deux modèles connus.
Condition
Bon état général.
Les fauteuils : usure et dessèchement du vernis et quelques rayures et enfoncements d'usage épars sur l'ensemble des parties en bois sculpté. Quelques tâches éparses et éclaboussures au verni. Jeu au niveau de la jonction de la traverse et des pieds antérieurs. Un éclat au bois au niveau d'un sabot sur environ 4 cm. Traces de salissures et poussière sur l'ensemble de la surface du tissu.
Le repose-pieds : usure et dessèchement du vernis et quelques rayures, salissures et enfoncements d'usage épars sur l'ensemble du piétement. La garniture déformée, le tissu décoloré et présentant des traces de salissures, le jonc partiellement décousu/décollé.

Good overall condition.
The armchairs : signs of wear and drying up to the varnish with a few dents all over the wood parts. A few stains and drops on the varnish. The junction of the front feet and the crossbeams are a bit loose. A chip to one foot on approximately 4 cm. Some traces of dirt and dust all over the upholstery.
The stool : signs of wear and drying up to the varnish with a few dents all over the wood, all consistant with normal age and use. The inner part of it has lost its shape, the upholstery is passed and the wood is unglued at some parts.
