A silver and jade box and cover by Jean Puiforcat, circa 1924-1928. Stamped - Hauteur : 9,5 cm (3 3/4 in.) Diamètre : 13,5 cm (5 3/8 in.) Poids : 540 gr
en argent, de forme circulaire, le corps scandé de six groupes de fins et double bandeaux verticaux, l'extrémité finissant en motif de grecque et reposant sur une base circulaire ; le couvercle, aux bords en gradin, centré d'une prise circulaire en jade retenue par un anneau mouluré

Ce drageoir est assorti au modèle de couverts Biarritz dessiné par Jean Puiforcat en 1924. Il est également à rapprocher d'un ensemble à condiments assorti au couverts Biarritz produit en 1928 faisant partie de la collection privée de la maison Puiforcat, exposé au Teien Museum de Tokyo en 2002
Condition
Très bon état général.
Infimes rayures d'usage sur le couvercle et quelques unes éparses sur la partie inférieure. Quelques rares et infimes enfoncements sur la base. Traces de produit d'entretien dans les creux.

Very good overall condition.
Mirnor scratches on the top and a few spread ones on the lower part. A few minor bumps around the edges of the base and traces of cleaning product.
