Description

Condition

The head is likely to have been broken and restuck with an old crack showing under his chin and across the beard (showing on the illustration in the catalogue). A small 5mm section of the veil to the back of its neck is chipped. The top section of the attribute he holds in his right hand is also chipped and missing. The figure otherwise is overall in good condition with a fine patina and a few age cracks as visible on the catalogue illustration, mainly visible on the top of his head. The actual is a fraction darker than the catalogue would suggest in the catalogue.
