Description
la coupe aux bords évasés reposant sur un haut pied évasé, l'intérieur décoré d'une fleur stylisée, le pourtour extérieur peint de lotus dans des rinceaux encadrant des caractères lança, le pied délicatement peint de têtes de ruyi d'où pendent des rangs de perles, frise de palmes et pétales stylisés, marque à six caractères en bleu sous couverte à l'intérieur du pied
Condition
Several small restored chips to the rim (the largest 1.2 x 0.7 cm) with subsequent reglazing around the cavetto inside the cup, a few other scattered nicks and light fritting around the rim, an iron spot to the white glaze inside, otherwise generally in good condition. The actual colour is somewhat more cobalt, less ultramarine with a bluish tinge in the white glaze compared to the catalogue illustration.
