Description

la double panse circulaire à décor de lotus stylisés dans des rinceaux feuillagés, les cols coupés remplacés par une monture en laque rouge sculptée postérieure à décor de fleurs de lotus dans des rinceaux, frise de palmes autour du col et frise de grecques autour du pied, marque à six caractères en bleu sous couverte à la base, socle en bois sculpté

Condition

The lacquer is a later addition of the 19th century ; some expected light wear to it and rubbing around the rim, otherwise good. The porcelain is in good condition. The blue is slightly more cobalt, less ultramarine, with a bluish tinge in the glaze, when compared to the illustration.
