Provenance
The Cranstoun Collection, Corehouse.
Condition
The shishi on the left has a chip to the extremity of its tail (visible on the photo). His front right legg is broken and reglued. There is a small flake above his left eyebrow. A 1 cm firing flaw in the glaze on the lower jaw. A few other minor firing imperfections and some rubbing to the iron red enamel.
The shishi to the right has a chip reglued to the front right paw (approx 1,2 x 1,2 cm). There is a hairline 9cm below the body with associated minute flaking to the glaze. Some rubbing to the iron red enamel and other expected minor firing imperfections. Otherwise in good condition.
