Estimate
10,000 - 15,000 EUR
bidding is closed

Description

Condition

The torana is made of several repoussé plaques riveted to a wood plank. It is in an overall good condition with the exception of visible surface dirt and oxidization to the gilding. Some scattered dents, the vase cresting above is loosely attached to the edge. There are some tears/chips to the border of the copper foils which is folded above the upper side of the wood panel, especially the border of the two foils at each extremities of the panel, possibly the consequence of having been previously pierced in order to suspend the ornament with some strings to a wall.
