encre et pigments sur soie, l'un représentant un paon perché sur une branche, l'autre un couple de paons, l'un en vol parmi des pivoines et des branches de prunus fleuries, les deux portant une signature apocryphe de Qian Shunju (1235-1301), encadrées (2)

Condition
Both panels are backed on cardboard and toned as visible on the illustration in the catalogue. Some scratches to the upper right of the painting with peacocks and a few other lighter horizontal surface scratches on the lower register. Some wear to the enamels on the pink peonies and a few water stains to the upper left.
The panel with a phoenix has a few light scratches in areas to the surface and some water stains to the upper left corner and another to the right near the signature and seal.
