Description

à décor finement sculpté d'un animal fabuleux stylisé, les bords soulignés d'une frise de grecques, inscription Qianlong renzi nian chen Dong Gao gong zhi à la base "Respectueusement sculpté par l'officiel Dong Gao pendant l'année renzi du règne de Qianlong" (correspondant à 1792)

Condition

A few nicks and/or tiny minute chips along the edges, some scratches to the surface beneath. A few natural hairlines/linear inclusions in the stone, but overall the brushrest is in good condition. The actual colour is a little more mottle green, less pink than on the illustration in the catalogue.
