debout sur une base lotiforme, vêtus de longues robes formant d'harmonieux plis, arborant collier et boucles d'oreille précieux, le visage serein surmonté d'une tiare ouvragée decouvrant une image de bouddha, l'un tenant dans ses mains un vase, l'autre un rameau feuillagé, traces de polychromie

Chacune portant au dos une étiquette "C. T. Loo & Cie, T. 22263"

Condition

Generally in good condition with the exception of some overall wear to the pigments and some chipping along the edge of the sleeves. There are traces of old gilt lacquer to both. The figure holding a vase has some chipping on approx 11cm along her left sleeve's edge, and a 5 cm section along the right one (showing on the illustration in the catalogue). There is a 5cm crack to the front of the base and a 8 cm crackling further upper right on the lotus base. There is a chip to the extremity of the hair lock behind her left ear, and to the bottom end of the hair lock behind her right ear. The figure holding a palm leaf has some chipping on an approx 8 cm section along the edge of her right sleeve. There is a chip as well to the edge of the robe around her left wrist (visible on the illustration). A 3cm section of the hair lock behind her right ear is also chipped. There is a crackle to the rear of the base toward the right.
