la forme polylobée, reposant sur un court pied droit souligné d'une frise de grecques, le couvercle à décor d'un médaillon central abritant une femme, sa servante et deux petits enfants sur une terrasse surplombant un décor rocailleux planté d'arbres, l'une assise sur un banc tenant un enfant dans ses bras, l'autre debout un éventail à la main, le pourtour orné de cartouches en réserve sur fond de grecques abritant lotus, camélias, pivoines, chrysanthèmes, iris et grenadiers en fleurs sur fond de croisillons, l'intérieur et la base laqués noir ; petits accidents

Expected wears and losses to the lacquer overall ; a 4 mm chip to the footrim ; the interior of the box repainted ; tiny losses and old wears and cracks as expected ; the actual color is less bright than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
