Condition

The bottom section of the vase as well as its rim have been broken and restored with extensive old yellowing restoration respray (The body has probably broken off in two parts, the yellow respray showing on a cursive line extending from the footrim up to approx 1/3 of the height of the vase and across the base, -part showing to the bottom right of the illustration in the catalogue-). The actual colours of the enamels is less saturated, the white ground a fraction more toned than the illustration would suggest in the catalogue.
