encre et pigments sur papier, représentant une scène villageoise animée dans un paysage valonné planté d'arbres, certains personnages jouant du tambour, d'autres prenant le thé, d'autres enfin arrivant à cheval, signé Liu Songnian avec cachet et accompagné de deux colophons, couverture en tissu vert

Condition

The painting is on silk further remounted on a paper scroll together with its two colophon which are in ink on paper. There is some light soiling consistent with age as well as a few minor vertical creases, two area stained toward the right of the painting (one dark stain is visible above the two figures standing to the right on the catalogue illustration, by the hill in the distance, there is another one similar stain just above, two other smaller stains in the sky further right). The colophons are in condition. The brocade mounts and enveloppe are slightly worn generally in good condition.
