Créée pour une cérémonie malangan, cette frise à composition symétrique représente des oiseaux émergeant en très haut relief d'une base entièrement ornée de motifs polychromes, positionnés soit dos à dos, soit le bec pointé vers un œil surdimensionné, doté d'une pupille en opercule de coquillage turbo. L'arrière est sculpté de deux lézards en bas reliefs, blanchis.
