Catalogue Note
Sculptée en forme d'oiseau frégate - la tête et la queue formant les poignées, les ailes venant envelopper la panse, les pattes fléchies signifiées par le motif ajouré de la base. Patine profonde, nuancée et huileuse, mise en valeur par les motifs profondément gravés ornant les ailes. cf. Guiart (1963, pl. 327) pour une coupe comparable dans les collections du Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (inv. n° 56-87).
