Condition

The canvas is lined. A close inspection reveals some tiny spots of paint loss in the upper left corner and another toward the centre of the right part of the composition. There is a thin network of hairline craquelures, notably towards the centre of the upper edge and in the sky. Examination under UV light reveals four small spots of retouching in the upper right quadrant, five small spots of retouching in the lower right quadrant and two minor spots of retouching in the left corners. This work is in overall good stable condition.
