The canvas is not lined. A close inspection reveals some scattered fly spots in the sky and two areas of stabilised hairline shrinkage in the upper left and lower right quadrants. There are some stable minor craquelures in the sky towards the centre of the composition (visible in the catalogue illustration). This work is in good original condition.
