Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down. The reverse of the sheet is fixed to Japan paper along the edges. The upper edge is slightly irregular. A close inspection reveals some scattered media marks, possibly inherent to the artistic process, some light general time-staining and some faint scattered spots of foxing (as visible in the catalogue illustration). There are two horizontal flattened creases towards the centre of the composition and a diagonal flattened crease in the upper and lower right corners. This work is in good stable condition.
