Condition
The canvas is not lined. A close inspection reveals some small spots of paint-loss in the upper corners. Examination under UV light reveals a few small spots of retouching scattered in the background of the upper composition, on the figure's left cheek and along the lower edge, possibly to cover old frame abrasion. This work is in very good condition.
