Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. This work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. A very few thin cracks to the impasto are only visible under very close inspection. A minor loss of paint (less than 1 mm) located 39 cm from the left edge and 21,5 cm from the upper edge is only visible under very close inspection. Under UV light, 2 pinhead sized dots, located 65 cm from the left edge and 2,5 cm from the upper edge, have been carefully restored. This work is in excellent condition.
