Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is brighter and contrast more important in the original. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. A few hairline cracks are only visible under very close inspection. A few losses of paint, not visible, located along the edges and especially in the upper left corner and along the lower left edge, inherent to the frame abrasion, have been carefully restored and fixed. Under UV light fluoresce : a minor dot (located 0,5 cm from the upper edge and 39 cm from the left edge) and two small dots located in the upper left corner. This work is in excellent good condition.
