Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. Concerning the smaller obelisk, a pinhead sized loss of paint (less than 0,1 cm) along the edge of the base is only visible under very close inpection. Concerning the taller obelisk, a very light and superficial white scuff is only visible under very close inspection in the blue upper part. Under UV light, two minor dots (less than 1 cm each) fluoresce : - one in the white ring at the top of the piece. - one in the green petal of the flower in the upper part of the piece. The work is in very good condition.
