Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. Under UV light, a minor careful retouching is located 19 cm from the extremity of the left corner. Only visible under close inspection, two minor losses of paint to the black impasto are located : - 27 cm from the lower edge and 14 cm from the left edge. - 29,5 cm from the lower edge and 12 cm from the left edge. This work is in excellent condition.
