Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. This work is in very good condition. The canvas is not lined. Under UV light, there is no evidence of any restoration. There are some thin and stable craquelures to the impasto area, all due to the artist's process.

Catalogue Note

signed and dated; signed, dated and titled on the back; oil on canvas. Executed in 1955-56.
