Description

moulded with Dulong-pattern in relief, painted with deutsche Blumen, the tureens with asparagus and cauliflower scrolled handles, the finials with a putto scattering flowers from a cornucopia, all with brown line rims, comprising: a  pair of large oval tureens and covers, 38.5 cm. wide; a pair of oval tureens and covers, 36.8 cm. and 37.2 cm. wide, one tureen with neu-ozier relief assembled; a two-handled oval dish, 50.7 cm. wide; a pair of two-handled oval dishes, 43 cm. wide; a small two-handled low oval tureen, cover with rose bud finial and stand, 22.5 cm. wide (the stand); ten oval dishes in four sizes, 33.5-44.5 cm. wide; a pair of large circular deep dishes, 44.5 cm. diam.; twelve circular dishes in four sizes, 30-35.8 cm. diam.; three pairs of leaf-shaped dishes in sizes, one pair Marcolini period; four triangular dishes, 23 cm. wide, one pair Marcolini period; five bowls in two sizes, 21.2-24.8 cm. diam.; two shaped circular bowls; twenty-two deep plates; thirty-four dinner plates; blue crossed swords and dot marks; various damages, some wear and chips (111)

Condition

Overall some flaking to the brown line rims and some usual wear or scratches to the enamels. The tureens with small chips to the extremities of the handles. -A pair of large oval tureens and covers, 38.5 cm. wide: One with a hairline crack to the upper border (ca. 2 cm.) and to the lower border (ca. 4 cm.). The covers with the figural finials broken off and re-attached with a metal pin, related chips and old restoration around the break line. The boy with the left foot lacking. Some chips to the applied flowers. -A pair of oval tureens and covers, 36.8 cm. and 37.2 cm. wide (one tureen with neu-ozier relief assembled): The assembled tureen with a T-shaped crack running across the body. One cover with the putto finial lacking the fingers of his right hand, the other cover with the putto with restuck head and related old overpainting. -A two-handled oval dish, 50.7 cm. wide; -A pair of two-handled oval dishes, 43 cm. wide; -A small two-handled low oval tureen, cover with rose bud finial and stand, 22.5 cm. wide (the stand): the tureen with a chip (ca. 0.5 cm. wide) to the inner upper rim, the cover with minor chips to the flower extremities of the finial, the stand with a rim chip (ca. 0.5 cm. wide). -A pair of oval dishes, 44.5 cm. wide: One with a small hairline crack to the border (ca. 2 cm.) and one of the support ribs on the base chipped. -Four oval dishes, 38.2 cm. wide (two with Marcolini-period mark): One with a small rim chip (ca. 0.3 cm. wide); one with a larger rim chip (ca. 2.5 x 0.6 cm.); one with Marcolini star mark with a restuck rim chip (ca. 1.5 x 0.7 cm.); one with Marcolini star mark with a star crack across the base and border; a large rim chip (ca. 2.8 cm. wide) and a rim crack (ca. 2 cm.). -A pair of oval dishes, 34 cm. wide (Marcolini star mark) -A pair of oval dishes, 33.5 cm. wide: One broken in half and with a related border fragment, with old riveted repair, some related chips; the other with a rim chip (ca. 1 cm. wide) -A pair of large circular deep dishes, 44.5 cm. diam. (one Marcolini, one Punktzeit) -A pair of circular dishes, 35.8 cm. diam., One with a rim chip (ca. 1.5 cm. wide); one with a rim chip (ca. 2 cm. wide). -Four circular dishes, 32 cm. diam.: One with a rim chip (ca. 1.3 cm. wide). -A pair of circular dishes, 30 cm. diam.: One broken in half with old riveted repair, a filled chip to the rim; the other with a rim loss (ca. 2 cm. wide) with associated hairline crack (ca. 4 cm.), and a rim chip (ca. 1 cm. wide) -Four circular dishes, 27 cm. diam.: one with a rim loss (ca. 4 cm. wide), one with two rim losses (ca. 1.2 and 3 cm. wide); one with a rim loss (ca. 1.3 cm. wide); one with a rim loss (ca.4 cm.) and an associated hairline crack (ca. 7 cm.) and a rim chip. -Three pairs of leaf-shaped dishes in sizes (one pair Marcolini period); -Four triangular dishes, 23 cm. wide (one pair Marcolini period); Of the Marcolini pair one with some small rim chips. -Five bowls in two sizes, 21.2-24.8 cm. diam.; One with a rim chip (ca. 1 cm. wide); one with a rim loss (ca. 2 cm. wide) issuing a border crack (ca. 3.5 cm.), a rim chip (ca. 0.3 cm. wide) issuing a border crack (ca. 3 cm.) and a border crack (ca. 4.5 cm.); one with a rim loss (ca. 1.1 cm. wide) with old discoloured overpainting and issuing a hairline border crack; one broken in half and repaired with metal rivets. -Two shaped circular bowls; The largest (22 cm. diam.) with small rim chips, the smaller (20 cm. diam.) with two hairline border cracks (2 and 4 cm.). -22 deep plates; Circa 3 with rim chips, one with a restuck border fragment with a metal rivet. -34 dinner plates; Circa 18 with rim chips, circa 2 with rim chips and cracks, circa 3 with chips to the foot rim, one with a restuck fragment.
