the reverse glass top painted and gilt with an Italienate coastal view, paterae and foliage and with an acanthus gallerie, the X-shaped reeded legs decorated with swan heads and acanthus and joined by a turned stretcher; inv. no. R 4922
Condition
Rather good original condition, stained, with some rubbing and/or oxidation to the gilding, the glass top broken and the painting with some craquelé, flaking and losses, good quality of the bronzework, good piece in need of some restoration.
